Credit Transfer (CT) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Policy and Procedure

Purpose #

The purpose of this document is to set out the policy and procedure adhered to Lexis Training and its staff with respect to the recognition and transfer of course credit and the recognition of prior learning (RPL).
The core principle of this policy is to confirm that Lexis Training will ensure it takes all reasonable measures to comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements, such as those set out in the ESOS framework, including those requirements specifically relating to course credit and RPL as set out in Section 19 of the ESOS Act, Section 3 of the ESOS Regulations, Standard 2 of the National Code and Standards 1 and 3 of the Standards for RTOs.
In its management of matters relating to course credit and RPL as part of its recruitment, assessment, and support of international students, Lexis Training prioritises the provision of high-quality educational services and the protection of the rights of potential and current international students as well as protection of the reputation of the organisation and of the Australian international education industry.

Scope #

This document and the policy and procedure set out in it apply to all activities of Lexis Training, its staff, contractors, and relevant third parties related to course credit and RPL.
This document and the policy and procedure set out in it exist in the context of all other Lexis Training policy and procedure documentation. This policy and procedure works in conjunction with the policy and procedure on Student Recruitment, Assessment, Orientation, and Complaints and Appeals and should be read together with those documents. It should be noted that matters specific to policies and procedures relating to those related areas are dealt with in their respective policy documents.
